Transport Topics Presents 2020 Trucking's Frontline Heroes

August 31, 2020

This year as America has struggled through a historic pandemic, workers in the freight transportation industry went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure continued movement of essential goods, food stuffs, and medical supplies. Transport Topics is recognizing the efforts of these heroes through our Trucking's Frontline Heroes campaign.

Beginning in June, we asked our readers to nominate trucking industry professionals who exhibited uncommon dedication and selflessness during this challenging time. We qualified submissions based on four criteria —humanitarianism, over-achieving, innovation and selflessness — which we further defined in our submissions form. Our editorial team combed through replies and selected a handful of stories that deserved further examination. From these interviews, Transport Topics has prepared a set of multimedia content featuring the human stories of heroism.

On Sept. 14,during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, Transport Topics will release a special commemorative publication and a dedicated microsite in celebration of Trucking's Frontline Heroes. The microsite includes a video gallery of short digital interviews introducing our heroes and a photo gallery of notable industry workers. Rediscover the meaning of the word "hero" with Transport Topics.

Join us in celebrating the remarkable acts exhibited by Trucking's Frontline Heroes. Appreciate the perseverance they exhibit. Find inspiration in their good deeds and hard work. And, take pride in knowing they represent the best the industry has to offer. Follow their journey from every day worker to hero, because everybody loves a hero's story.
