The Search is On: Transport Topics Spends First Half of 2022 Looking for Heroes

August 26, 2022

Turbulent times have a way of revealing the heroes among us.

With the extreme flooding and the tragic war in Ukraine inflicting severe economic pain in the United States and around the world, seemingly ordinary people have stepped up to serve on the front lines of the fight against unprecedented obstacles.

These everyday heroes don’t wear capes, but you can find them tending to unfortunate communities, stocking shelves at a grocery store, or behind the wheel of a commercial truck delivering essential goods.

Professional truck drivers and other workers in the transportation industry have always performed indispensable jobs, but many have gone above and beyond the call of duty this year to ensure that store shelves remain stocked with necessities and crucial supplies arrive on time.

This year, we're honoring those that are helping fix supply chain issues, aiding in international help, and any devastating natural disasters. Though we haven't named our heroes just yet be sure to watch this space as we'll announce our two 2022 heroes here.

In the meantime, do you have a hero story? What is a hero in your eyes? Tell us below!
